The Code of Conduct is designed to facilitate high standards of behaviour so that the learning and teaching in our school can be effective and students can participate positively within our school community.
Essential to effective learning is a safe, supportive and disciplined environment that respects the following rights:

- the rights of teachers to teach
- the rights of all to be safe.
All areas of Weir State School are learning and teaching environments. We consider behaviour management to be an opportunity for valuable social learning as well as a means of maximising the success of academic education programs.
