Enrolments open for 2025
Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education. It is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1. Prep is a full-time program in primary schools and has a defined curriculum. Children attend Monday to Friday, generally from 9am to 3pm.
Prep eligibility in 2025
- Children must be 5 on or before 30 June in the year they enrol in Prep.
- To determine if your child is eligible to enrol in Prep please view the Department's online calculator to determine when your child can commence their Prep year.
- A birth certificate must be provided with the Enrolment Application before the enrolment can be accepted. Apply for a birth certificate here.
- All new Prep families are required to meet with a member of our Leadership Team prior to your child commencing Prep.
- When submitting enrolment forms, please come prepared with the correct documentation, otherwise the enrolment process cannot proceed.

Prep Induction Interviews
The Enrolment Induction Interview for parents is where you will meet with the a member of our Leadership Team. The school office will make arrangements for this.
When attending your enrolment induction please ensure you bring the following documentation:
- Full and original birth certificate (no extracts or decorative certificates) or current Australian / New Zealand passport
- Visa documents (if applicable)
- Legal Custody documents
- Proof of Residency
- Immunisation Records
- Health plans or medical documents
Prep Transition Program
Our transition mornings provide prospective Prep 2025 students with the opportunity to visit our school to get a first-hand experience of what 'big school' is like. Students participate in hands on Arts, PE and Robotics activities.
